I am a fourth year PhD Candidate at the University of Maryland Human-Computer Interaction Lab (HCIL) , a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII), and a former research associate at Disney Research.
I work on two threads of research:
(1) Developing interactive audience experiences
(2) Training intuitive judgement heuristics using multisensory information
In the past, I've worked on education game design, motivation psychology, and audience-performance interaction. I have an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Maryland, and a B.A. in Opera Performance from Goucher College.
